Wireshark On OSX

Something to remember if you use OSX and want to run Wireshark.

Wireshark uses certain files within /dev/bpf* directories in order to run. If you’re in a hurry like I am right now, you just need to change permissions with the following command:

sudo chmod o+r /dev/bpf*

You should now be good to go. This is only a one off. The permissions will revert once you restart.
